Alright. I’ve been toying with the idea of the Indoctrination theory for the ending of Mass Effect 3 that has been floating around the internet. And I have discussed many points with my housemate, who has also studied literature extensively. She knows how invested I am in the story, and has given me a seed of hope that has blossomed into a razor-sharp flower of abject disbelief. She has also been researching this purely to ease my troubled mind, because living with me when I am in the throes of anguish or the grips of rage is pure hell.
And I can safely say that this is either the most dick move that Bioware could have pulled, or pure. Fucking. Genius.
So, yes. I have been won over to the indoctrination theory, and I’ll share with you some of the reasons why.
This isn’t any better than the RGB space magic endings we got…Picking control or synthesis means that Shepard is fully indoctrinated, thus nullifying all your previous decisions and it’s game over (meaning some people will miss out on the “real ending” DLC entirely). Assuming Shepard shakes off the indoc attempt in the destroy ending, what is he/she’s going to do next? Is Shepard going to crawl towards the beam, meet Marauder Shields, and attempt to activate the Crucible again? Retaking Earth isn’t fun when Shepard is badly wounded and limping slower than my grandpa.
Even if the indoc hypothesis is true, it doesn’t excuse Bioware shipping an unfinished product. They promised closure, choices that result in vastly different endings, space battles, multiplayer not required etc. but did not deliver. How can we defend them at this point?
Please stop putting Bioware on a pedestal. They’re not infalliable gods of the gaming industry. They lied to us and rushed the ending because they had no idea how to conclude the trilogy. Simple as that.
Sherlock: Look Jawn, I’mma dragon! RAWRRR

qué qué qué?? Nooo, quiero que Billy y Teddy sean primeros!! U_U
Es justo, sin embargo, que Northstar va primero.(English: Billy and Teddy are too young. I would be disappointed if Marvel had them get married already. Their relationship is still very young. I love them and want them to be together. If they get married so young then their relationship might suffer. I do not want that. I think it is right for Northstar to be the first gay wedding since he was the first gay superhero. They treated him with such disrespect for so long. He was a joke so much of the time. He deserves for Marvel to treat his orientation with respect. I do wish that we could see Billy and Teddy get married first. It is right, though, that Northstar goes first.)
Ted was reassuring Billy that he’s committed to their relationship - he didn’t literally mean they should get married. Seriously guys, stop fussing over everything :\
One of these is not like the other ones
Yep, totally saw this coming. She’ll also fall in love with Sherlock. Just you wait…
